Over 300 Units we sold in Cambodia
On Thursday 7th July COMIN KHMERE and KONE organized a product seminar featuring ’’KONE Elevators and escalators’’ at PHNOM PENH HOTEL. KONE were represented by a team from the Regional head Office in Thailand. The seminar covered company history, latest technology and new releases and discussed the benefits of KONE products and support tools. The event was very great success welcoming over 50 clients. For the past 10 years, COMIN KHMERE has been the exclusive authorized distributor of KONE lift products in Cambodia and Laos. CK’s team trained and certified technicians provides installation as well as preventive and corrective maintenance in compliance with KONE guidelines up to highest standards.
COMIN KHMERE’s trading division have successfully sold over 300 units of elevator including AEON Mall Phnom Penh, Cambodia largest’ shopping complex with over 66,000m2 of retail shopping space over four levels, where only the best international players and suppliers were used.
Major contract awards for Comin Asia Power T&D
We are proud to announce being awarded 2 major projects for our Power T&D division:
The upgrade of three 115kV grid substations GS1, GS2 and GS3, in Phnom Penh, from single busbar scheme to double busbar scheme. This 36 months contract will be executed in live substations in a sequential manner to minimize the shutdown time while maintaining the electricity supply in Phnom Penh city. Our OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety management system will definitely be a plus to insure zero casualty in this live substation environment. For the first time in Cambodia, Hybrid GIS equipment – a compact technology designed for constrained space requirements in urban area – will be used. Once completed, EDC will operate the network in Phnom Penh with higher safety and reliability.
The “500kV Pleiku 2” in Vietnam, an extension of an existing 500kV substation that will allow both Vietnam and Lao networks to be interconnected. This project has been declared by the prime minister office as a national priority. This second 500kV project secured by Comin Asia will contribute to build-up the company eligibility on the highly selective 500kV market.
The 4th Cambodian Construction Association exhibition 2015
On 3rd-5th December 2015, The Cambodia Constructors Association (CCA) organized its 4th Summit Expo at the Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center. This annual event is the largest of its kind in Cambodia featuring all aspects of the Construction Industry
Comin Khmere is a founding member of CCA since it was established in 2011. After the grand opening ceremony, Comin Khmere received an award recognizing our contribution to the exhibition and the industry over the years. This award was presented by H.E. Im Chhun Lim, Minister of Land Management Urban Planning and Construction. During the 3 days the event was attended by over 250 key Cambodian and international CCA members as well as key customers and business partners. The event enabled us to showcase our talents and product range and further reinforced our reputation as a leading MEP company in the Mekong region.
110kV Tan Binh 3 GIS Substation successfully energized
July 2015: Comin Vietnam successfully completed its first turnkey GIS substation project.
Tan Binh 3 substation was energized by the end of June 2015 and will help to provide reliable and stable electricity supply for Tan Phu District in Ho Chi Minh city. It was built with the latest generation of GIS equipment manufactured by ABB which ensures 25 to 30 years maintenance free operation.
Le Meridien Saigon opens – Another five-star hotel reference for Comin Asia
On September 28th, 2015, Le Meridien Saigon was officially inaugurated.
This five-star property with 345 rooms juxtaposes rich elements of Vietnamese-French heritage with a sleek, contemporary vibe. The inauguration of this Starwood property also marks the opening of the first Le Meridien in Vietnam. Comin Asia has been entrusted by the project developer to provide and install all the MEP systems in compliance with Starwood’s technical requirement.
