Lao: The first Coca Cola bottling factory just completed by Comin

The 10,000 sqm Lao Coca-Cola Bottling factory, located in the surroundings of Vientiane capital, is the first Coca-Cola plant ever built in Laos and embodies the launch of the American brand on the Lao market. Comin Asia has been entrusted by the client to design, supply and install all the MEP work, including process piping. Comin Asia work has started in January 2015 and was successfully completed in August 2015 for the grand opening of the factory by Mr. Muhtar Kent, Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company.

Comin Asia footprint increase in Myanmar

September 2015: Comin Asia Myanmar handed-over to client the Honey’s garment factory after the completion of project phase II (annex building for 1,200 production workers). Phase I started in June 2014 with a target of delivering the 16,500 m2 factory on 1st March 2015. Thanks to Comin Asia’s expertise and a harmonious collaboration with the Main Contractor, Konoike from Japan, this fast-track project was successfully delivered on time.

Comin Vietnam awarded OHSAS 18001:2007 certification

Hanoi, Vietnam, 1 Sep 2014 I Last month, Vietnam’ subsidiary undertook to carry out an external safety audit across its operations in Hanoi office, HCM branch office and model site ‘’Le Meridien Saigon’’.

We are delighted to announce that Comin Vietnam Co., Ltd has successfully passed the external audit for occupational health and safety and has been awarded OHSAS 18001:2007 Management System certification by BSI.
This certification confirms our commitment to continuously improve the safety and security of our staff through training, reporting and monitoring. We focus our effort toward building and maintaining professional standards.

RMIT Vietnam – Academic Building 2 M&E Fit out

HCMC, Vietnam, 17 July 2014 I The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) is an Australian based university operating in Vietnam which aims to lead the education sector in South East Asia.



Comin Asia has successfully completed the fit out for its latest Academic Building (AB2) – which opened in 2013 – to world class standards. The project area totals 1,920m2 from the second floor to the fifth and was divided into two phases.

The scope and extent of the works includes but was not limited to the following: hydraulic system, fire fighting system, ducting system, ventilation, BMS control, power, lighting, fire detection & alarm system, access control systems, emergency warning & public address system, telephone & data network.

The contracting team of Comin Asia in Vietnam was appointed to undertake the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the full M&E services for fit-out in RMIT Vietnam main campus, in Ho Chi Minh City. The ‘’Saigon South campus’’ is a purpose-built, contemporary educational facility of an international standard providing students with efficient and effective environmental office space. RMIT University is renowned for its world-class facilities.

This project adds to our list of satisfied clients with the educational sector.

Committed to our employees’ health and safety

July 2014 I Comin Asia’s subsidiaries in Cambodia and Vietnam are going through the process of becoming OHSAS 18001 certified.

Occupational Health and Safety Management systems certification is the international standard for health and safety management systems which enables organizations to manage operational health and safety risks and improve performance.

In order to meet the OHSAS 18001 requirements, both entities are now integrating and harmonizing their HSE management system which will be used and implemented throughout Comin Asia group. Site Safety Awareness programs were launched through signage and posters. Regular training on major issues such as safe working practices, plant evacuation drills, and accident and/or injury reporting as well as corrective measures are implemented.

Recently, Comin’s HSE department has arranged a 4 days’ First Aid & CPR Training provided by Red Cross Instructors. The goal of the training was to teach our employees how to act on, prevent and manage emergency cases.
