LAURELTON DIAMONDS FACTORY – 150kWp Solar Photovoltaic Parking System
Posted on: June 13, 2014
Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 30 may 2014 I Parking roof space is being converted into a solar energy farm. The project was designed to provide a functional platform for the facility to improve its energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.
We are pleased to announce that Comin Khmere has successfully completed Cambodia’s largest solar power system installation: a 1.400 m2 Photovoltaic Park with a peak capacity of 150kW, LEED certified.
In January, Laurelton Diamonds (Cambodia) has awarded the trading division of Comin Khmere the design, shop drawing, procurement and construction contract of a solar plant system for their manufacturing facility, located in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ), Cambodia. It is the first company having installed 150kWp of solar power in Cambodia. Comin Khmere uses only proven, TÜV-certified thin-film technologies.
The solar roof will generates around 180 000 kilowatt hour of clean electricity every year, enough to power 15% of the factory annual consumption. In addition to generating on-site solar electric power and reduce energy costs, the solar park canopies protect vehicles from the weather. And it is a great way to demonstrate how environmentally friendly your company is.
Laurelton Diamonds is a subsidiary of Tiffany & Co. All of their facilities operate at the highest standards in the industry.
