The price of electricity in Cambodia remains very high, still one of the highest in the world. In the meantime, solar technology becomes more and more reliable and affordable. As a result, the solar market will keep growing and will see more and more commercial and industrial projects as well as utility scale projects (solar farms).

We have a variety of photovoltaic grid-tied solar energy systems of ranges of sizes with a focus on industrial and commercial project for self-consumption. Roughly such systems can generate up to 30% of the end-user needs.

Comin Khmere has maintained a leading position solar industry for years, as result our capacity installed has grown by more than 30% in 2017 compared to 2016, and we have run several big projects such as Coca Cola, International School of Phnom Penh, US Embassy, ISI, and more.

At the end of this year, 2017, we have installed a total capacity of 6.4 MWp, which generate 27 MWh per day and void the equivalent of 1 ton of CO2 per month.

Our company sees high potential in the industrial sector, electricity being one of their biggest expenses. To consider using an alternative clean source of energy is necessary to remain competitive in the region.
