Comin’s Steam Service Participate with Switch Garment Midterm Event

On the 13th of March Comin Khmere, represented by Mr. Neil Hughes,  attended and presented at the Switch Garment Midterm Event. The event was graced by H.E. Say Samal, Minister of Environment of the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E. Carmen Moreno, the Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia. More than 200 participants including the high officials and representatives of the line ministries, international brands, garment manufacturers, energy service providers, financial institutions and development partners attended the event. 

The key objective of the event was to showcase the achievement made in the progress and during the keynote presentation by Mahfuzur Rahman, Switch Garment project manager, As of February 2023, the project has achieved its investment mobilization target of 2 million USD, successfully contributed to the recently adopted National Energy Efficiency Policy (NEEP), developed green finance instruments and training materials were developed and released. 

Comin Khmere were very happy to take the chance to present at this event and highlight the savings in energy that the Steam Department is able to offer clients. We then had the afternoon networking session in our booth that gave us the opportunity to talk with people about their potential savings as well as highlighting some of the other areas that Comin Khmere specialize in.
